Mapping One-to-one

We will walk through an example for mapping a certificate to a individual user account.

  1. Open the GSW Certificate Mapping Tool
  2. Click on "1-to-1", Click Add
  3. Navigate to the folder where the user's certificate is stored. Select the certificate, Click Open
  4. "The certificate you selected" dialog opens, displaying General information about the certificate. Click  "OK," "Yes."
  5. Click "Enable this mapping" and complete the fields for the RFUser's Windows account and Click "OK.".
  6. Click "Apply,""Yes","OK"

Step 1
Logon as an administrator to the computer running GSW UTS SSH2 Server (SSH Shield).
Open the GSW Certificate Mapping Tool.

START|All Programs| Georgia SoftWorks UTS|Certificate Mapping Tool


 


The dialog below opens.



 

Step 2 Select One-to-one mapping
 
  1. Click on 1-to-1




  1. Click "Add"



Step 3
  1. Navigate to the folder where the user's certificate is stored.
  2. Select the certificate, click "Open"
 

 
 
Step 4 "The certificate you selected" dialog opens, displaying General information about the certificate.
  1. Click "OK". (Note: you do not need to click "Install Certificate" as it is already installed in our example).




  1. The "Are you sure you want to use this certificate?" dialog is presented. Click "Yes."



Step 5
  1. Check "Enable Mapping"

  2. Complete the fields in the RFUser's Windows account and click OK



Step 6 The enabled 1-to-1 mapped certificate is displayed
  1. Click "Apply"



 
  1. The dialog below is displayed. Click Yes.
     NOTE: This will disconnect all existing sessions.




 
  1. And Click OK
